Crisis Intervention There are times in life and business when the need arises for special protective services due to unexpected events. We call this "crisis intervention" or "crisis management". By nature they are high threat level situations. A business, for example, may go through certain cycles such as layoffs , a merger, labor disputes which could escalate to threats of violence among personnel or management. In these cases a team of specially trained personnel may be used to protect owners, executives and other management personnel. Often a crisis intervention team acts something like the United Nations peacekeeper working with several factions to diffuse anger and potential violence. Often the situations are where we provide a visible deterrent to potential threats. An example of this might be "robbery suppression". This is where a financial institution or related entity has been robbed, and we come in and provide a "visible shield" to deter further problems, as well as provide a sense of well-being to the employees or clients who were victimized. This visible shield is also used as a preventative measure when suspicious activity has been recently noted.
